तत्रासीन्माधवोनाम ब्राह्मणो वेदपारगः । वसिष्ठगोत्रविख्यात एकप्रवरसूचितः

tatrāsīnmādhavonāma brāhmaṇo vedapāragaḥ | vasiṣṭhagotravikhyāta ekapravarasūcitaḥ

«Là vivait un brāhmaṇa nommé Mādhava, accompli dans les Veda ; célèbre comme appartenant au gotra de Vasiṣṭha, et connu pour n’avoir qu’un seul pravara.»
