yasya no brāhmaṇo brūte yajñasyāṃte pratarpitaḥ | tarpito'smīti tattasya vṛthā syādyajñajaṃ phalam | yadi koṭiguṇaṃ dattamapi śraddhāsamanvitam
Si, à la fin du yajña, le brāhmane, pourtant comblé, ne déclare pas : « Je suis satisfait », alors le fruit né de ce sacrifice devient vain pour lui, même s’il a fait des dons multipliés par un million et même s’il est animé de foi (śraddhā).
