FAQs

Sacred time (kāla) itself becomes a purifier when observed with dharma—Kārttika’s bright-fortnight days are praised as especially sin-destroying.

A specific site is not named in this verse; it functions as calendrical praise within the broader Tīrthamāhātmya context.

Observance is tied to the period from Ekādaśī through Pañcadaśī in Kārttika’s bright fortnight—implying vratas, bathing, worship, and allied rites performed in this window.
