Alors Audumbarī s’adressa à la montagne, son propre père : «Demain, ici, aura lieu l’avabhṛtha, le bain de clôture, issu du sacrifice accompli selon le rite prescrit.»
Audumbarī
Tirtha: Avabhṛtha-tīrtha (implied, arising from yajña)
Type: ghat
Scene: Audumbarī announces to her mountain-father that tomorrow an avabhṛtha bath will occur here, born of a properly performed sacrifice.
Ritual completion culminates in purification rites; the avabhṛtha bath seals the yajña’s merit and sanctifies the place.
The avabhṛtha is to occur ‘here’ within the Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra setting described in this Māhātmya.
Avabhṛtha-snānā (the concluding sacrificial bath) is explicitly announced as the next day’s rite.
