S’inclinant la tête, pleins d’allégresse, ils parlèrent ensuite avec respect : «Ainsi sommes-nous venus, ayant entendu parler de ton excellent sacrifice (yajña).»
Divine visitors (likely the Mātṛgaṇas continuing from prior verses)
Type: kshetra
Scene: The arriving hosts bow with heads lowered before Brahmā in the yajña pavilion; their faces bright with joy; hands in añjali; the fire altar glows as they speak reverently about having heard of the excellent sacrifice.
Śravaṇa (hearing sacred glory) leads to saṅgati (holy association) and namaskāra (humble reverence), which are core Purāṇic modes of accruing merit.
The chapter’s holy kṣetra hosting an ‘excellent yajña’; the verse does not specify the site-name.
Implicitly endorses respectful bowing and attending a yajña after hearing its glory; no technical ritual steps are given.
