बहुभिः कलहो नित्यं द्वाभ्यां संघर्षणं तथा । एकाकी विचरिष्यामि कुमारीवलयं यथा

bahubhiḥ kalaho nityaṃ dvābhyāṃ saṃgharṣaṇaṃ tathā | ekākī vicariṣyāmi kumārīvalayaṃ yathā

Avec beaucoup, la querelle est constante ; avec deux, il y a pareillement frottement. Aussi errerai-je seul, tel le bracelet au poignet d’une jeune fille : lorsqu’il est seul, il ne heurte point et ne sonne pas.
