Transliteration

vidūratho mahīpo'haṃ māhiṣmatyāṃ kṛtāspadaḥ | mṛgalipsurvane ghore praviṣṭaḥ sainikaiḥ saha

Translation

«Je suis le roi Vidūratha, établi à Māhiṣmatī. Désireux de gibier, je suis entré dans une forêt redoutable avec mes soldats.»
