वयं हि ब्राह्मणा जात्या वैदिशाख्ये पुरे नृप । देवरातस्य विप्रस्य गृहे जाता महात्मनः
vayaṃ hi brāhmaṇā jātyā vaidiśākhye pure nṛpa | devarātasya viprasya gṛhe jātā mahātmanaḥ
Ô roi, nous étions brahmanes de naissance, nés dans la cité appelée Vidiśā, dans la demeure du noble brahmane Devarāta, au grand cœur.
