Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 64

द्वितीये च तथा प्राप्ते तृतीये च विशेषतः । यावत्पश्यामि प्रत्यूषे तावद्गौरीचतुष्टयम् । जातं रत्नमयं तच्च मया यत्परिपूजितम्

dvitīye ca tathā prāpte tṛtīye ca viśeṣataḥ | yāvatpaśyāmi pratyūṣe tāvadgaurīcatuṣṭayam | jātaṃ ratnamayaṃ tacca mayā yatparipūjitam

Quand vint le deuxième jour, et plus encore lorsque le troisième arriva, à l’aube je vis la manifestation quadruple de Gaurī. Cette forme devint rayonnante comme un joyau, et je la vénérai comme il se doit, avec un respect total.
