Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 44

मन्त्रेणानेन दातव्यं तदेव प्राशनं स्मृतम् । अर्धनारीश्वरौ यौ च संस्थितौ परमेश्वरौ

mantreṇānena dātavyaṃ tadeva prāśanaṃ smṛtam | ardhanārīśvarau yau ca saṃsthitau parameśvarau

Qu’on l’offre par ce même mantra ; et cette offrande doit aussi être consommée, ainsi qu’il est enseigné. Ainsi sont invoqués les deux Souverains suprêmes qui demeurent comme Ardhanārīśvara.
