विश्वामित्र उवाच । यदि तुष्टोऽसि मे देव यदि देयो वरो मम । ब्राह्मण्यं देहि मे देव नान्यदिष्टतमं महत्

viśvāmitra uvāca | yadi tuṣṭo'si me deva yadi deyo varo mama | brāhmaṇyaṃ dehi me deva nānyadiṣṭatamaṃ mahat

Viśvāmitra dit : « Si tu es satisfait de moi, ô Seigneur, et si une grâce doit m’être accordée, donne-moi le brāhmaṇya, ô Dieu ; rien ne m’est plus cher, rien n’est plus grand. »
