श्रीब्रह्मोवाच । विश्वामित्र प्रतुष्टोऽस्मि तपसानेन सत्तम । वरं वरय भद्रं ते प्रदास्याम्यपि दुर्लभम्
śrībrahmovāca | viśvāmitra pratuṣṭo'smi tapasānena sattama | varaṃ varaya bhadraṃ te pradāsyāmyapi durlabham
Śrī Brahmā dit : « Viśvāmitra, ô le meilleur des vertueux, je suis pleinement satisfait de ton austérité. Choisis une grâce — que le bien soit sur toi ; je t’accorderai même ce qui est difficile à obtenir. »
