Transliteration

nagarasthita liṃgānāṃ yasmātsaṃsmaraṇātsthitaḥ | nāgareśvarasaṃjñastu tasmādeṣa bhaviṣyati

Translation

Parce que ce liṅga demeure établi par la remémoration des liṅgas situés dans la cité, il portera dès lors le nom de « Nāgareśvara ».
