Type: kshetra
Scene: A householder, with a restrained but cutting composure, gestures toward his household wealth, offering it entirely to assembled brāhmaṇas; the brāhmaṇas sit in a semi-circle, tense, sensing insult beneath the offer.
Greed corrupts judgment; dharma is restored through restitution and generous giving directed toward reconciliation and purity.
The verse continues the Brahmasthāna-centered episode within the Tīrthamāhātmya; no new tīrtha name is stated.
Dāna of wealth—up to everything in one’s house—submitted to brāhmaṇa direction as part of remedy and purification.
