पुष्प उवाच । न विषादस्त्वया कार्यः कार्येऽस्मिद्विजसत्तम । वित्तार्थं दूषितस्त्वंहि यतो ब्राह्मणसत्तमैः

Transliteration

puṣpa uvāca | na viṣādastvayā kāryaḥ kārye'smidvijasattama | vittārthaṃ dūṣitastvaṃhi yato brāhmaṇasattamaiḥ

Translation

Puṣpa dit : 'Ne t'afflige pas à ce sujet, ô meilleur des deux-fois-nés. Car tu as été souillé par les brahmanes uniquement pour la richesse.'
