Transliteration

aho kubuddhinā naiva labdhaṃ saṃsārajaṃ phalam | na kadācinmayā dattaṃ tṛṣṇāvyākulacetasā

Translation

Hélas ! Par ma sottise, je n’ai recueilli aucun fruit véritable de la vie mondaine. L’esprit agité par la soif du désir, je n’ai jamais fait l’aumône, pas même une fois.
