जना ऊचुः । एको देवः स्थितश्चात्र सद्यःप्रत्ययकारकः । तथैका देवता चात्र श्रूयते जगती तले
janā ūcuḥ | eko devaḥ sthitaścātra sadyaḥpratyayakārakaḥ | tathaikā devatā cātra śrūyate jagatī tale
Le peuple dit : «Ici se tient établi un seul deva, qui donne une certitude immédiate (par des fruits prompts et visibles). Et ici, à la surface de la terre, on évoque aussi une unique devatā, une déesse particulière.»
