श्वशुरस्यापि नो दत्तं किंचित्तेन दुरात्मना । भार्यायाः श्वेतवस्त्राणि मुक्त्वाऽन्यन्नैव किंचन

śvaśurasyāpi no dattaṃ kiṃcittena durātmanā | bhāryāyāḥ śvetavastrāṇi muktvā'nyannaiva kiṃcana

Ce misérable ne donna absolument rien, pas même à son beau-père ; et à son épouse, hormis des vêtements blancs, il ne donna rien d’autre.
