अथोवाच प्रमुग्धा सा मायया जगदीशितुः । कस्त्वं कारुण्यजलधिर्येनाहमिह रक्षिता
athovāca pramugdhā sā māyayā jagadīśituḥ | kastvaṃ kāruṇyajaladhiryenāhamiha rakṣitā
Alors, troublée par la puissance merveilleuse du Seigneur du monde, elle dit : «Qui es-tu—océan de compassion—par qui j’ai été protégée en ce lieu ?»
