Transliteration

tāvajjñānaṃ ca vairāgyaṃ pūrvajātismṛtiryathā | yāvadgarbhasthito jantuḥ sarvo'pi dvijasattama

Translation

«Tant que l’être vivant demeure dans le sein maternel, ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés, en lui résident la connaissance et le détachement, ainsi que la mémoire des naissances antérieures.»
