Scene: A celestial woman (Rambhā) speaks with a Brahmin-sage, solemnly entrusting a maiden; the gods’ city glimmers in the background, while the sage stands grounded and contemplative.
Each being must live within its proper realm and dharma; responsibility is fulfilled by entrusting dependents to rightful guardians in the human world.
The verse is embedded in the Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra māhātmya of the Nāgarakhaṇḍa, though it speaks generally about svarga and the human condition.
None; it states a doctrinal point and a practical act of entrustment (samarpana).
