Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 69

नृत्यमानाः पुरस्तस्य देवदेवस्य शूलिनः । सस्पर्धा गणमुख्यैस्तैर्नर्तमानैः समंततः

nṛtyamānāḥ purastasya devadevasya śūlinaḥ | saspardhā gaṇamukhyaistairnartamānaiḥ samaṃtataḥ

Dansant devant ce Dieu des dieux, le Porteur du trident (Śiva), les gaṇa les plus éminents dansaient de toutes parts, rivalisant entre eux dans leur ardeur.
