मुनिरुवाच । बंधनं जगतः किंचिद्वेधसाऽन्यदपश्यता । स्त्रीरूपेण ततः कोपि पाशोऽयं स्त्रीमयः कृतः

Transliteration

muniruvāca | baṃdhanaṃ jagataḥ kiṃcidvedhasā'nyadapaśyatā | strīrūpeṇa tataḥ kopi pāśo'yaṃ strīmayaḥ kṛtaḥ

Translation

Le sage dit : «Le Créateur, ne voyant pour le monde aucun autre lien, façonna ce piège sous la forme de la femme — un lacet tissé de fascination.»
