मुनि रुवाच । स्त्रियः पापसमाचारा नैताः शुध्यंति कर्हिचित् । परकांते रतिर्यासामंत्यजत्वं प्रयच्छति

Transliteration

muni ruvāca | striyaḥ pāpasamācārā naitāḥ śudhyaṃti karhicit | parakāṃte ratiryāsāmaṃtyajatvaṃ prayacchati

Translation

Le sage dit : «Les femmes aux actes pécheurs — de telles femmes ne se purifient jamais. Et celles dont la joie est dans la bien-aimée d’autrui sont conduites à l’état d’exclues, hors caste.»
