Type: kshetra
Scene: Śāṇḍilya narrates: Nārada, after giving counsel, departs joyfully for a pilgrimage; the mother respectfully sees him off—an image of hospitality and the pilgrim-sage on the road.
Pilgrimage (tīrtha-yātrā) is affirmed as a revered dharmic pursuit, intertwined with teaching and transmission of sacred practice.
No single tīrtha is named in this verse; it broadly references tīrtha-yātrā within the māhātmya setting.
No direct ritual; it notes the sage’s departure for pilgrimage.
