Type: kshetra
Listener: Householder/parent (within Śāṇḍilya’s recollection)
Scene: A prophetic assurance: on Tṛtīyā the devotee gains a worthy husband—handsome, pleasing-faced, and virtuous; the verse evokes an auspicious, bridal-hope atmosphere anchored in devotion.
Purāṇic dharma links disciplined devotion and auspicious timing (tithi) with благоприятные life outcomes, especially for household life.
The verse is part of a broader tīrtha narrative; here the emphasis is on the tithi-based fruit of worship rather than a named location.
Special observance/worship on Tṛtīyā as part of the Gaurī worship regimen.
