सूत उवाच । मैत्रेय्या सह संसक्तं याज्ञवल्क्यं विलोक्य सा । कात्यायनी सुदुःखार्ता संजाता चेर्ष्यया ततः
sūta uvāca | maitreyyā saha saṃsaktaṃ yājñavalkyaṃ vilokya sā | kātyāyanī suduḥkhārtā saṃjātā cerṣyayā tataḥ
Sūta dit : Voyant Yājñavalkya étroitement attaché à Maitreyī, Kātyāyanī fut saisie d’une peine très profonde, et alors la jalousie (īrṣyā) s’éleva en elle.
