Sūta
Type: kshetra
Listener: Ṛṣis/assembly at the tīrtha-mahātmya setting (implied)
Scene: Sūta narrates as the Goddess vanishes; Karṇotpalā, resolute, begins counting and seeking the arrival of tṛtīyā aligned with Saturday, holding the vow in mind.
After receiving instruction, the devotee must practice patient discipline—waiting for the proper tithi and vāra to fulfill the vow.
The same Nāgarakhaṇḍa tīrtha setting continues; the verse emphasizes observance of the prescribed time for the snāna at that site.
To seek/observe the conjunction of tṛtīyā tithi with Saturday (Śani-vāra) as instructed for the tīrtha practice.
