यदि ते संविभागेन पापस्यांशोऽपि गच्छति । तत्कुरुष्वाथवा पाप दुर्वहं ते भविष्यति
yadi te saṃvibhāgena pāpasyāṃśo'pi gacchati | tatkuruṣvāthavā pāpa durvahaṃ te bhaviṣyati
«Si, par le partage, ne fût-ce qu’une infime part du péché te revient, alors fais-le (à cette seule condition). Sinon, ô pécheur, cela deviendra pour toi un fardeau insupportable.»
