Ensuite, se rendant à leur propre āśrama, ils y demeurèrent l’esprit concentré. Ayant installé la Déesse Kātyāyanī, ils se vouèrent entièrement à son adoration.
Sūta (tīrthamāhātmya narration)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Brāhmaṇa audience
Scene: A forest hermitage: the couple, now ascetic, installs a Kātyāyanī image on a simple altar; offerings of flowers, bilva/forest blossoms, lamps, and water vessels; their faces calm and focused.
Focused devotion (samādhi-like steadiness) and proper worship of the Devī are presented as efficacious for righteous desires.
The hermitage is within the tīrtha-kathā framework of Hāṭakeśvara-kṣetra, whose greatness is unfolded through the narrative.
Devī-sthāpana (installation) followed by ārādhana (continuous worship/propitiation).
