Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 62

ततो वह्निं समाधाय स्वयं तत्र द्विजोत्तमाः । प्रदक्षिणात्रयं कृत्वा प्राह चैव कृतांजलिः

tato vahniṃ samādhāya svayaṃ tatra dvijottamāḥ | pradakṣiṇātrayaṃ kṛtvā prāha caiva kṛtāṃjaliḥ

Alors, le plus éminent des deux-fois-nés alluma lui-même le feu sacré en ce lieu ; après l’avoir contourné trois fois, il parla, les mains jointes en signe de vénération.
