Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 53

तस्माच्छुद्धिं द्विजेद्राणां प्रयच्छतु द्विजोत्तम । येनान्येषामपि प्राज्ञ विनश्यंति न योषितः

tasmācchuddhiṃ dvijedrāṇāṃ prayacchatu dvijottama | yenānyeṣāmapi prājña vinaśyaṃti na yoṣitaḥ

C’est pourquoi, ô meilleur des deux-fois-nés, accorde un moyen de purification aux chefs des deux-fois-nés, afin que—ô sage—d’autres femmes aussi ne soient pas perdues par le soupçon et la calomnie.
