नैतत्पुत्रोद्भवं दुःखं तथा मां बाधते ह्रदि । यथेदं मानुषे गर्भे संवासो मानुषं प्रति

naitatputrodbhavaṃ duḥkhaṃ tathā māṃ bādhate hradi | yathedaṃ mānuṣe garbhe saṃvāso mānuṣaṃ prati

«Ce n’est pas la douleur d’enfanter un fils qui tourmente tant mon cœur ; c’est ceci : demeurer dans un sein humain et être liée à la condition des mortels.»
