समागच्छंति विप्रेन्द्राः पुरवृद्धिः प्रजायते । न कश्चिद्याति संत्यक्त्वा दौस्थ्यादन्यत्र च द्विजाः

samāgacchaṃti viprendrāḥ puravṛddhiḥ prajāyate | na kaścidyāti saṃtyaktvā dausthyādanyatra ca dvijāḥ

Les plus éminents brāhmanes s’y rassemblent, et la cité prospère. Nul « deux-fois-né » ne s’en va, l’abandonnant par détresse, pour gagner ailleurs.
