व्यवस्थैवं समुद्भूता सर्पाणां मानुषैः सह । वधभक्षणजा न्योन्यं बाह्याभ्यंतरसंभवा

vyavasthaivaṃ samudbhūtā sarpāṇāṃ mānuṣaiḥ saha | vadhabhakṣaṇajā nyonyaṃ bāhyābhyaṃtarasaṃbhavā

Ainsi naquit un arrangement entre les serpents et les hommes, issu du meurtre et de la dévoration réciproques, survenant au dehors comme au dedans de la contrée.
