एवमुक्त्वा ततः शेषः शोधयामास तं द्विजम् । येन संसूदितः पुत्रो दंडकाष्ठेन पाप्मना

evamuktvā tataḥ śeṣaḥ śodhayāmāsa taṃ dvijam | yena saṃsūditaḥ putro daṃḍakāṣṭhena pāpmanā

Après avoir parlé ainsi, Śeṣa se mit à rechercher et à identifier ce brāhmane, ce pécheur par qui le fils avait été tué d’un bâton de bois.
