हाहा पुत्र परित्यक्त्वा मां च क्वासि विनिर्गतः । अनावृत्तिकरं स्थानं किं स्नेहो नास्ति ते मयि
hāhā putra parityaktvā māṃ ca kvāsi vinirgataḥ | anāvṛttikaraṃ sthānaṃ kiṃ sneho nāsti te mayi
«Hélas, mon fils ! M’ayant laissée derrière toi, où es-tu parti ? Es-tu allé vers le lieu d’où l’on ne revient pas ? N’as-tu donc aucune tendresse pour moi ?»
