शप्ताः सर्वे वयं तावत्प्रसादं कुरु तद्विभो । ते तेनाथ ततः प्रोक्ता नाहं वो राक्षसाधमाः
śaptāḥ sarve vayaṃ tāvatprasādaṃ kuru tadvibho | te tenātha tataḥ proktā nāhaṃ vo rākṣasādhamāḥ
«Nous avons tous été frappés d’une malédiction; aussi, ô Puissant, accorde-nous ta grâce.» Alors il leur dit : «Ce n’est pas moi qui vous l’accorderai, ô rākṣasas les plus vils.»
