Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 91

तस्य नष्टं मृतं कायं तच्च जीर्णं पुरोद्भवम् । यदासीदक्षयं नित्यं तस्मिंस्तोये व्यवस्थितम्

tasya naṣṭaṃ mṛtaṃ kāyaṃ tacca jīrṇaṃ purodbhavam | yadāsīdakṣayaṃ nityaṃ tasmiṃstoye vyavasthitam

Son corps—comme perdu, comme mort, et usé par l’existence antérieure—fut laissé de côté ; mais ce qui en lui était impérissable et éternel demeura établi dans cette eau sacrée.
