yasmindine samāyāto rāmastatra praharṣitaḥ | tasmindvijottamaiḥ sarvaiḥ proktaḥ so'bhyetya sādaram
Type: kshetra
Scene: Rāma arrives at a sacred place, radiant and delighted; a circle of venerable brāhmaṇas address him, and he steps forward with folded humility.
Reverence for brāhmaṇas and humility before dharmic counsel are presented as virtues even for exalted figures like Rāma.
The “there” continues the chapter’s setting—Ānarta Tīrtha / Ānartīya Taḍāga—now connected with Rāma’s arrival.
No direct prescription; the verse transitions into a narrative episode involving Rāma and the foremost brāhmaṇas.
