Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 45
धातूनां कांचनं यद्वद्गंधर्वाणां च नारदः । तथा त्वं सर्वदेवानामाधिपत्ये व्यवस्थितः
dhātūnāṃ kāṃcanaṃ yadvadgaṃdharvāṇāṃ ca nāradaḥ | tathā tvaṃ sarvadevānāmādhipatye vyavasthitaḥ
De même que l’or est le premier parmi les métaux, et Nārada parmi les Gandharvas, ainsi es-Tu établi dans la souveraineté sur tous les dieux.
