Skanda
Tirtha: Sāmbakuṇḍa / Sāmbāditya-tīrtha
Type: kund
Scene: A devotee bathes at dawn in the kuṇḍa, then approaches the Sāmbāditya shrine with offerings; a subtle visual contrast shows illness dissolving into light; priests chant as the sun rises.
Tīrtha-snānā and deity-pūjā are presented as twin disciplines: relieving suffering and establishing lasting merit.
The ‘there’ refers to the Sāmbakuṇḍa/Sāmbāditya sacred complex in Kāśī.
Bathing at aruṇodaya at the tīrtha, followed by worship (pūjā) of Sāmbāditya.
