साधयिष्यामि वः कार्यं विसर्ज्येति दिवौकसः । पुनश्चिंतापरो भूत्वाऽगस्तिर्ध्यानपरोभवत्

sādhayiṣyāmi vaḥ kāryaṃ visarjyeti divaukasaḥ | punaściṃtāparo bhūtvā'gastirdhyānaparobhavat

«J’accomplirai votre tâche ; retirez-vous», dit-il aux habitants du ciel. Puis, redevenant tout entier voué à la contemplation, Agastya entra dans une profonde méditation (dhyāna).
