न मनुष्यस्तुतिं कुर्यान्नात्मानमपमानयेत् । अभ्युद्यतं न प्रणुदेत्परमर्माणि नोच्चरेत्
na manuṣyastutiṃ kuryānnātmānamapamānayet | abhyudyataṃ na praṇudetparamarmāṇi noccaret
Qu’on ne s’adonne pas à louer les hommes (du monde), ni ne s’avilisse soi-même. Qu’on ne repousse pas celui qui s’approche avec respect, et qu’on ne divulgue pas les secrets sensibles d’autrui.
