कृतोपनयनः सोथ विद्यां जग्राह भूरिशः । अथ पित्रानभिज्ञातो द्यूतकर्मरतोऽभवत्
kṛtopanayanaḥ sotha vidyāṃ jagrāha bhūriśaḥ | atha pitrānabhijñāto dyūtakarmarato'bhavat
Après avoir accompli l’upanayana, il acquit de vastes connaissances. Mais ensuite—à l’insu de son père—il se voua à la pratique du jeu de hasard.
