क्रोधिनो द्वेषिणश्चैव सर्वसत्त्वभयंकराः । लौगाक्षसोद्भवा ये वै वाडवाः सत्यसंश्रिताः

krodhino dveṣiṇaścaiva sarvasattvabhayaṃkarāḥ | laugākṣasodbhavā ye vai vāḍavāḥ satyasaṃśritāḥ

Les Vāḍavas issus de Laugākṣa sont certes colériques et haineux, semant la crainte parmi tous les êtres ; pourtant on les décrit comme demeurant établis dans la vérité.
