Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 62

वंचयित्वा निजान्विप्रानन्येभ्यः प्रददेत्तु यः । तस्य जन्मार्जितं पुण्यं भस्मीभवति तत्क्षणात्

vaṃcayitvā nijānviprānanyebhyaḥ pradadettu yaḥ | tasya janmārjitaṃ puṇyaṃ bhasmībhavati tatkṣaṇāt

Quiconque, après avoir trompé ses propres brāhmanes, fait des dons à d’autres—le mérite acquis durant toute une vie devient cendre à l’instant même.
