प्रोत्फुल्लहृदयो रामो रोमाचिंततनूरुहः । गमनाय मतिं चक्रे धर्मारण्ये शुभव्रतः

protphullahṛdayo rāmo romāciṃtatanūruhaḥ | gamanāya matiṃ cakre dharmāraṇye śubhavrataḥ

Le cœur épanoui et les poils du corps hérissés d’extase, Rāma —aux vœux auspices— résolut de se mettre en route vers Dharmāraṇya.
