रामेण तुमुले युद्धे रावणो द्रावितो रणात् । पञ्चम्या अष्टमी यावद्रावणेन प्रबोधितः

rāmeṇa tumule yuddhe rāvaṇo drāvito raṇāt | pañcamyā aṣṭamī yāvadrāvaṇena prabodhitaḥ

Dans la bataille furieuse, Rāma repoussa Rāvaṇa hors du champ de guerre. De la cinquième tithi jusqu’à la huitième, Rāvaṇa le ranima et l’exhorta de nouveau au combat.
