Skanda Purana — Brahma Khanda, Shloka 21

त्रिशूलेन ततो भिन्नः शक्तिभिः क्रोधमूर्च्छितः । हन्यमानस्तदा रक्षः प्राणांस्त्यक्त्वा दिवं गतः

triśūlena tato bhinnaḥ śaktibhiḥ krodhamūrcchitaḥ | hanyamānastadā rakṣaḥ prāṇāṃstyaktvā divaṃ gataḥ

Alors ce rākṣasa, transpercé par le trident et frappé de lances, ivre de colère tandis qu’on l’abattait, abandonna son souffle vital et monta au ciel.
